What is Cyberpunk 2077?
Cyberpunk 2077 is a story-driven, open world RPG from CD PROJEKT RED, creators of The Witcher series of games. It has been developed using the same REDengine 4 as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, so we can expect a similar feel.
It is the second video game adaptation from the Cyberpunk franchise. The first one being Cyberpunk: Arasaka’s Plot, a mobile 2D platformer developed by a different studio. Cyberpunk was originally a dystopian tabletop role-playing game written by Mike Pondsmith.
The upcoming video game, Cyberpunk 2077, takes places in Night City, a megalopolis
obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. Players assume the role of V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.
